Growing up, I was suspicious of Chiropractors and Chiropractic. I was treated by a chiropractor who operated with no integrity and I developed a bias against chiropractic.
I had been involved in a few fender-bender auto accidents. I went in for sporadic treatments but since little about the treatment was explained to me, I believed the chiropractor was just trying to make money off of me. I doubt I even completed treatment.
A few years later, I developed a hyperactive Thyroid condition (Grave’s Disease). Food went through my system too quickly & practically undigested so while eating up to 6 regular meals per day I lost weight and was rail thin. I was very jittery, my hands shook, my eyes protruded, my skin was paper thin so I would get cut all the time very easily. I would have rapid, spontaneous heart palpitations so badly that several times I was transported by ambulance to the emergency room for treatment.
