love is kind and patient; long-suffering, non-critical,non-judgemental, forgiving, compassionate, understanding,and did I mention forgiving? He is coming around because maybe he is the man God intends for you. You be a light to him. What if you honor and worship the Lord by being humble like he does for us - not concerned with his feelings which are often hurt by what we do? Try real true love which is not about how you feel: i believe loving your spouse is a way to glorify God in the highest. By responding to this fellow sinner with kindness, gentleness and compassion. It is so easy to pass the buck in love and make it the other person's responsibility to be better - that is what the majority do... Even the majority of Christians. FYI I met a Puerto Rican woman who's husband does the shopping for the family. She hates shopping yet serves clean [read: organic] food / healthy food for her family. Sometimes her husband buys non-healthy food and this is what she does: She simply obtains the unhealthy food, takes it back to the grocery store and exchanges it for healthy food. No comment to hubby. No argument over something trivial. Kindness. Love. Patience. Decency. Peaceful Home, Ladies: isn't that what we all want???
